Human Resource Business Continuity Plan

As a law firm with two (2) offices in Gauteng and one (1) Office in Pietermaritzburg. All offices work together with the resources communicating with each thus keeping its staff members abreast of all matters dealt with by the firm. Having realised that staff turnover is a risk to the law firm and while the firm is always on the lookout for talented and experienced legal professionals, retaining our staff compliment is important to the success of the business operation of the firm as it grows

Professional and support staff members are constantly reviewing files and projects so that each staff member is familiar with key files and engagements.

As we concentrate on Commercial, Corporate and Litigation matters, we ensure that staff members at the firm have sufficient knowledge to take over a file seamlessly from a staff member who for any reason whatsoever cannot continue with a particular file or engagement. The staff member will appraise each other of the necessary and relevant facts by way of reports and direct engagement. Employees are managed in a manner to understand what they require in order to further their skills, expertise and careers in law. Harvesting employee knowledge on a periodic basis so as to keep critical legal precedents and opinions for future use by the firm in its knowledge management. A program is in place to reward and incentivize staff members in respect of their remuneration. Care is also taken to respect personal and cultural beliefs. It is our fervent belief that furthering the education of our staff is an important aspect to retaining staff.
